- The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University organized a seminar and demonstration on "Confocal Imaging & Analysis in the A.I. Era (ZEISS LSM 900)" from August 27 to 29, 2024, at Meeting Room 1, Scientific and Technological Equipment building 5. The event was officially by inaugurated by Assistant Professor Dr. Phuwadol Bangrak, Director of the Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment.
- The primary objective of this seminar was to enhance the knowledge and introduce new technologies to faculty members, researchers, and scientists from both within and outside Walailak University. The focus was on presenting the use of the Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope (ZEISS LSM 900), a vital instrument in advanced biological research and studies, ranging from cellular to molecular levels. The seminar highlighted the microscope’s capabilities in providing high-resolution imaging, super-resolution, the ability to capture images at specific focal points, and the creation of 2D and 3D images, which supporting in cellular level studies and advanced research in science and biomedical science.
- The seminar aimed to improve knowledge and skill in using modern tools and technology and encourage the application of these technologies in future research and education for faculty members, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates.
