The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, is looking for applicants to take the daily temporary employee examination for the position of laboratory staff.
- With The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University intending to recruit individuals to take the examination for selection of temporary daily employees for the position of laboratory staff.
1. General features
- Must have general qualifications and not have prohibited characteristics according to Section 11 of Walailak University Regulations on Personnel Administration 2018.
2. Position-specific qualifications
- 1) Completed high school or equivalent.
- 2) If you have experience working in a scientific laboratory or related field for not less than 3 years, you will receive special consideration.
- 3) Able to work outside of business hours or on public holidays.
- 4) Have good communication and coordination skills.
- 5) Have basic computer skills.
- 6) Able to work as a team and have a service mind.
3. Other features
- 1) Have knowledge and skills related to the applied field and truly understand the philosophy, mission and mission of Walailak University.
- 2) Be a person who can work full-time and overtime as assigned.
- 3) Be a person who is eager to learn and has a true intention in working, including being able to devote oneself to the assigned work.
- 4) Be a person who understands and accepts the performance evaluation criteria and various conditions as determined by the university.
4. Workload
- 1) Opening and closing windows, lights and air conditioners before and after teaching.
- 2) Help prepare audio-visual equipment for teaching.
- 3) Help move materials, equipment, supplies, chemicals, and samples, etc.
- 4) Help manage/dispose of waste from the laboratory, such as separating waste types in the laboratory, chemicals, and samples of living things.
- 5) Help with work during the exam period.
- 6) Clean the floor, walls, glass, cabinets, tables, beds, lockers, and chairs in the laboratory, including shelves and sinks, once a week or before and after every teaching session.
- 7) Clean the service counter before and after every teaching session.
- 8) Collect trash and clean the trash disposal area after every class.
- 9) Clean the whiteboard, chalkboard, and glass board.
- 10) Clean the refrigerator and surrounding area.
- 11) Clean the area where materials, equipment, and chemical shelves are placed and the surrounding area at least.
- 12) Clean the phone and cord at least once a day.
- 13) Vacuum the laboratories at least once a week.
- 14) Perform other duties as assigned.
5. Wage rate
- 438 baht per day.
6. Employment conditions
- Employment period : 1 fiscal year (from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025)

8. Documents and evidence of application
- 1) 1-inch photo, full-face, without a hat or dark glasses, taken within the past 1 year, 1 photo.
- 2) 1 copy of high school transcript or equivalent.
- 3) 1 copy of house registration.
- 4) 1 copy of your national ID card.
- 5) Copies of other evidence such as marriage certificate, name change certificate.
9. Application
- Interested applicants can submit their applications and other supporting documents at Building for science and technology 5 (B5) from 18-25 September 2024, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (except public holidays).
