The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, Enhances Fire Safety Preparedness through Annual Firefighting Training and Fire Evacuation Drills 2026 to Strengthen Safety Standards in Laboratory Buildings, Held on 14–15 May 2026.
- The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, organized a practical training program on “Basic Firefighting Training and Fire Evacuation Drill 2026” to prepare personnel and laboratory staff and enhance their understanding of how to respond effectively to fire emergencies under simulated conditions.
- The training was conducted at the Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment Complex from 14–15 May 2026.
- The activity was divided into two key components to ensure that participants gained comprehensive knowledge and practical skills.
- On 14 May 2026, the Center conducted “Basic Firefighting Training” as a hands-on workshop, providing participants with practical knowledge of basic firefighting techniques and the proper use of firefighting equipment for emergency response.
- On 15 May 2026, the Center organized a “Fire Evacuation Drill”, during which personnel practiced the safe movement and evacuation of occupants from the buildings in accordance with the established emergency safety plan. The drill was designed to familiarize everyone with evacuation routes and proper procedures to follow in the event of an emergency.
- This activity forms an integral part of the Center’s commitment to maintaining safety standards in laboratories and high-rise buildings, while enhancing confidence and preparedness among both personnel and students who use the facilities.
