The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, Participates in the Merit-Making and Royal Cremation Ceremony Honoring Body Donors for Gross Anatomy Education for the Academic Year 2025 on 9 May 2026.
- On 9 May 2026, representatives from The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, faculty members, and students from the Physical Therapy Program, Walailak University, attended the merit-making ceremony and royal cremation ceremony for body donors who donated their bodies for anatomical education for the 2025 academic year.
- The ceremony was held at Wat Tha Krabue, Samut Sakhon Province, and was organized by the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
- The ceremony was held to express gratitude and pay tribute to the 476 body donors who selflessly dedicated their bodies for educational purposes. Their invaluable contributions have played a significant role in teaching, education, and the advancement of knowledge in medicine and health sciences, serving as a vital foundation for the development of qualified medical and public health professionals for the country.
- On this occasion, representatives from Walailak University participated in the placing of sandalwood flowers and ceremonial rites to pay their respects to the deceased and to honor the profound contributions of all the cadaveric teachers. Through their selfless dedication, they have provided invaluable opportunities for learning and served as teachers in medicine and science for students, medical personnel, and health professionals.
- Participation in this ceremony reflects a deep appreciation for the value of selfless sacrifice for the benefit of society.
