The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, Donates Microscopes to Enhance Educational Opportunities for Students in Schools Surrounding the University in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province on 7 May 2026.
- On 7 May 2026, The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pijug Summpunn, Deputy Director of The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, and Mr. Phanuwat Sukkong, Scientist, delivered compound light microscopes and stereo microscopes to six organizations within Walailak University and schools in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, totaling 17 microscopes.
- This initiative aimed to expand educational opportunities and promote access to scientific learning resources for students, educators, and the local community, as follows:
- 1. Wichian Prachasan School – 4 compound light microscopes
- 2. Krung Yan Wittayakhan School – 4 compound light microscopes and 1 stereo microscope
- 3. Mahad Islam Iemaniya Foundation School – 2 compound light microscopes
- 4. Pathumanukul School – 2 compound light microscopes
- 5. Ban Song Phraek Mittraphap 92 School – 2 compound light microscopes
- 6. School of Political Science, Walailak University (Community Development Project) – 2 compound light microscopes
