The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, Organizes the Workshop “Lab Waste 101: Sort It Right, Store It Properly” on 29 April 2026.
- The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment, Walailak University, organized a practical training workshop entitled “Lab Waste 101: Sort It Right, Store It Safely” at the Health Science Laboratory Skills Training Laboratory, Scientific and Technological Equipment Building 3, on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.
- More than 60 personnel from The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment participated in the training to collectively enhance laboratory safety standards, develop a proper understanding of hazardous waste classification, and foster a strong safety culture within the organization in a sustainable manner.
- During the activity, participants gained not only theoretical knowledge of waste classification criteria and waste quantity calculation, but also hands-on experience through simulated activities involving the segregation of laboratory waste according to actual laboratory procedures. This practical training enhanced their confidence and helped reduce errors in the systematic and safe storage and disposal of laboratory waste.
