Hosted the Network Meeting of the Thailand Scientific Equipment Center Network (TSEN) 1/2565, aiming to raise and strengthen networks Thailand Scientific Equipment Center Network.
- The Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment Walailak University Hosted the Thailand Scientific Equipment Center Network (TSEN) Network Meeting 1/2565 to strengthen the Thailand Scientific Equipment Center Network. Raise the standards of the network member's testing analytical laboratories. Between 21-22 July 2022, with more than 300 members of the network of scientific instrument centers across the country participating.
- On this occasion, at the opening ceremony on July 21, 2022, it was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Sarawoot Palipoch, Acting Vice President of Walailak University Presided over the opening of the meeting. Dr. Nattapon Wuttiphan, the secretary of Thailand Scientific Equipment Center Network, delivered a report at Sri Thammarat Auditorium Architectural and Design Laboratory Building on the 3rd floor Walailak University.
- Associate Professor Dr. Sarawoot Palipoch said that during the past 5-6 years, Walailak University has announced that it is a university in the era of change. University of Quality and aiming to become a world-class university. The main goal of the university is "graduate production" so there has been a reform of teaching and learning. By adopting The United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) of the United Kingdom. The faculty of Walailak University have been trained. According to the UKPSF framework 100% and more than 99% of UKPSF certified, the largest number in Thailand.
- In addition to teaching Walailak University views the classroom as important. Therefore, all large classroom teaching is cancelled and arrange students to study in small rooms so that teachers can take care of everyone. Developing all classrooms to be Smart Classrooms. In the past few years, the building has been renovated with a budget of more than one hundred million baht. In order for students to get good things, there are modern laboratories and tools used in their studies. This corresponds to the hosting of the TSEN meeting that will help to upgrade the laboratory to be more modern.
- On the side, Dr. Nattapon Wuthiphan said that the objective of the TSEN meeting was to strengthen the Thailand Scientific Equipment Center Network. Raising the standard of analytical testing laboratories of network members and the country to exchange knowledge between laboratory staff Scientists and engineers as well as personnel members of the network (TSEN). Both in the development of laboratory standards test analytics Laboratory Competency Information laboratory safety management procurement of scientific equipment, maintenance and personnel development. It is to build a good relationship among all members in the network for the benefit of collaboration between departments in the network.
- Within this networking meeting was honored to give a lecture by Bara Scientific Co., Ltd. “Fullautomated platform for TDM analysis in serum samples (Shimadzu On-Line Fully Automated Sample Preparation Module with LC-MS/MS)” by HORIBA (THAILAND) LIMITED “Reman confocal microscopy for Micro Pollution Inspection development method” by Absotec Co., Ltd “Using SEM/FIB-SEM in life science”
- In addition, there were 34 companies, 48 booths, 98 scientific instrument booths at the Architectural and Design Laboratory Building, Walailak University. In organizing this networking meeting, it is a good opportunity for all institutions to exchange and learn from each other, share experiences in order to create a standard for increasing the services of each institution including laboratory and safety standards.
